Open hours: 9:00 – 21:00 (excluding Thursday)

 

List of current situations on facilities in Kyoto is as follows;

Due to avoidance of spreading COVID-19, following areas in Miyako Ecology Center will be closed.

  • Children’s room (wooden toy area)
  • DVD viewing area

 

For All Visitors;

Please refrain from

  • Visiting the facility when you have symptoms such as fever of 37.5 C/99.5 F or above, cough, sore throat, etc., had contact with COVID-19 patients in close proximity (roughly within 2 m/ 6 ft. ), or have been to an area/county where has been increasing numbers of COVID-19 patients in last 2 weeks.
  • Talking loud in the facility.

Please keep

  • Distance of 2 m (approximately 6.5 ft) from each other,
  • Your mask on,
  • Covering your mouth when you sneeze or cough,
  • Remembering to wash your hands frequently.
    * There are also hand sanitizers on each floor.

  • 2nd meeting room: 18
  • Workshop room: 30
  • Cooking room: 13

* Please refrain from cheering, singing, or having meal (incl. drinking).
* Since the “Cooking room” is presumed to have meal, the number of people allowed is halved from usual.

 

Library;

It will be open per usual; however, it will be one-way traffic in the area and no food and drink allowed in the Communication Corner next to the library.

 

Collecting Recycling Items *;

It will be open per usual.
* Used cooking oil, milk carton, recyclable Isshou-bins, fluorescent lamps, batteries.
