International relationship in Eco-cen!?

When you think of our center, Miyako Ecology Center, what is the first thing to come to your mind?

Global Warming

Chikyu-maru

Green Consumer

Library

and… etc.

Although we all have different things to relate with Eco-cen, I would like to introduce 1 corner that you may never knew before.

It is called “Intro to International Projects”.

Before the COVID hit us globally, we had around 250 visitors from overseas at Eco-cen, and with them there are few projects and activities we have done so far.

So this is something that we would like to introduce what we can offer for those who speaks other languages.

Some deliverables are written in English so let’s check the corner to see what kind of aspects of Eco-cen has been collaborated internationally!

思い浮かべる事は様々かと思います。

そこで、本日はまだまだ新しい新コーナーの紹介です。

「国際事業紹介コーナー」です！

コロナ禍前は、、、

海外からの来館者が【約250人前後】いました！

海外からの来館者には、館内案内をはじめとし環境学習施設に関わる研修の実施など様々な活動をエコセンで行ってきました。

成果物の一部は、日本語だけでなく英語でも配架中です。

海外に向けてエコセンがどんな事をやってきたのか、気になる方は是非２階の当新コーナーを見に来てください！
